Diagnosis

Antennal scrobes join below frontal suture; vertex with a complete median groove; scutellum smooth and shiny with very weak traces of reticulation laterally; petiole 2.0X as long as wide; gaster with 1st tergite distinctly hairy laterally. Similar to leucopterae but with longer petiole and shorter gaster. See also fagus.
